Overview
In this junior position you will be the frontline for user requests on all things IT. This would be a great fit for someone in tech support looking for professional growth or anyone who is a technology enthusiast and wants to put that energy to work. .
What You'll Do:
- Help Desk agent; Be the hero our clients need by quickly solving problems
- Listen to our clients and relay their sentiments to leadership
- Work with the VP of Information and Innovation to bring new and exciting technologies online
- Gather and distribute data as needed
- Play a critical role. Your work will be highly visible and will impact the success of our company
- With training, be the administrator or co-administrator for several key systems.
- Document interactions with end users in detail.
- Digest new information, understand it, and quickly get up to speed on new platforms, concepts, and functions and help others learn the same
Preferred traits
- A history of translating tech concepts and terms into words end users can understand
- Degrees and certificates are always great, but experience and the ability to show success wins every time.
- 2 years or more of help desk, call center, or other customer-facing positions is a big plus.
- Exposure to any of these or similar platforms is a plus: Azure, Exchange, AD, POS systems, BI platforms, database concepts, Ticketing systems, or CRMs, Google tools like Analytics.
- Competence in supporting Apple products a plus
- Exposure to web technologies PHP, JavaScript, CSS, REST, etc. a plus
- The ability to take a loss and learn from it.
- Patience.
