Our team is on the lookout for a new member of the IT department who is passionate about technology, eager to learn, and ready to tackle challenges with a fresh perspective. Experience is not the only marker of success for us; we value cleverness, determination, adaptability, and the willingness to learn above all.

Overview

In this junior position you will be the frontline for user requests on all things IT. This would be a great fit for someone in tech support looking for professional growth or anyone who is a technology enthusiast and wants to put that energy to work. .

What You'll Do:

  • Help Desk agent; Be the hero our clients need by quickly solving problems
  • Listen to our clients and relay their sentiments to leadership
  • Work with the VP of Information and Innovation to bring new and exciting technologies online
  • Gather and distribute data as needed
  • Play a critical role. Your work will be highly visible and will impact the success of our company
  • With training, be the administrator or co-administrator for several key systems.
  • Document interactions with end users in detail.
  • Digest new information, understand it, and quickly get up to speed on new platforms, concepts, and functions and help others learn the same

Preferred traits

  • A history of translating tech concepts and terms into words end users can understand
  • Degrees and certificates are always great, but experience and the ability to show success wins every time.
  • 2 years or more of help desk, call center, or other customer-facing positions is a big plus.
  • Exposure to any of these or similar platforms is a plus: Azure, Exchange, AD, POS systems, BI platforms, database concepts, Ticketing systems, or CRMs, Google tools like Analytics.
  • Competence in supporting Apple products a plus
  • Exposure to web technologies PHP, JavaScript, CSS, REST, etc. a plus
  • The ability to take a loss and learn from it.
  • Patience.
